Where is the office located?
I offer telehealth appointments through my online platform.

In certain cases, I offer in-person sessions at my office in San Diego. Street parking is available.

What are your office hours?

9 am – 5 pm Tuesday thru Thursday excluding holidays

How long is a typical session?

Around 45-50 minutes

How do I do to get started?

Call (840) 977-6845 to schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation.

Once we agree to work together, you’ll receive an email with intake forms and setup instructions so you can access my online scheduling and telehealth platform.

Payment/Insurance

I accept credit card payments for cash pay patients.

I accept Aetna and Tricare for insurance pay patients.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

I have a 48-hour cancellation policy.

Are you LGBTQIA friendly?

I specialize in the LGBTQIA population.

What types of clients do you see?

I work with adults and specialize in trauma/PTSD, LGBTQIA issues, and men’s issues.

Do I have to tell you everything?

Trust is built, not automatic.

I create an environment that, hopefully in time, you will feel comfortable enough to share your lived experiences—both the victories and defeats.

What do you enjoy about being a therapist?

I enjoy witnessing growth and transformation in my patients.

Have you been in therapy yourself?

In total, I have been in four years of therapy with three different therapists.

Do you prescribe medications?

No. California is not currently one of the several states where psychologists have prescription privileges.

Are you licensed?

I am licensed in the state of California (PSY31181).

Because, why not?

Should I wear waterproof mascara?

Sometimes. I encourage emotional release in safe environments.

Am I allowed to ask personal questions?

I don’t mind self-disclosing if it’s relevant and will help with your therapy.
